Asos Return Policy 2024– ASOS is an online retailer of apparel and beauty products. In the year 2000, it began in London.
Sending something back to ASOS is simple and usually cost-free. However, it is always advisable to carefully read the ASOS return policy manual.
We do not abandon you to your own devices on this journey. Instead, we will take you step by step through the entire return process.
Note that the official website is the source of all information. The official website may make changes to this Asos return policy at any moment.
What is Returns Policy?
We want returns to be as easy as possible but if you want to know more about our Returns Policy, how to return something or the process scroll down.
Returning an unwanted item?
We get that sometimes something does not work for you and you want your money back. As long as an item is still in its original condition and follows the rules below, which include rules about fair use, we will take it back for free. None of these rules change the legal rights you have.
If you return an item within 28 days of getting it or being able to get it we will give you a full refund through the same method you used to pay for it.
We try to give you your money back within 14 days of getting the item back to our warehouse. If you want a refund for an item within the above time frames but canot send it back to us for some reason please let us know. However any refund will be up to us.
After that?
We do not take back items you do not want after the above mentioned return period. If you try to make a return, we may have to send it back to your default delivery address and ask you to pay for the shipping costs.
Final Sale
Items marked Final Sale have been marked down a lot and can not be returned, exchanged or refunded, except in very rare cases. This does not change any of your legal rights.
What happens to my return if I ordered using Klarna?
If you’ve used “Pay in 4 Payments with Klarna” to place an order, you’ll pay for it in regular payments. If you send something back within 28 days of getting it or being able to get it, we’ll give you a full refund.
Original condition
Since cleanliness and the safety of our customers are very important, some items can’t be returned for a refund.
Face and body products that have been opened, used, or don’t have their seals on them
If the hygiene seal is broken or any of the labels are torn off, the underwear should not be worn.
Swimwear should not be worn if the hygiene seal is broken or if any of the labels have been torn.
If the seal has been broken or tampered with, the jewelry should not be worn.
Cover their faces if the seal has been broken or tampered with.
None of this changes the legal rights you have.
You can try something on just like you would in a store, but please don’t wear it. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn, or in an unsuitable condition, we won’t be able to give you a refund and may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). On return, all items are checked.
Responsibility
Make sure the returned things are securely secured so they can’t break in transit as you are responsible for them until they reach us.
Make sure you have proof of postage in case you need to contact us regarding your return because you are still in charge of the shipment until it is returned to us.
Any things that are unintentionally returned to us are not our responsibility. If you want the things returned to you and we can locate them (which is not always possible), we could ask you to cover the shipping costs.
Fair use
If we see a strange pattern of returns that does not make sense like if we think someone is wearing their purchases and then sending them back or if they are ordering and returning,
Way more than even the most loyal ASOS customer would order or if the items returned do not match what they ordered, we might have to deactivate the account and any other accounts that are linked to it.
If this happens to you and you think we made a mistake, please contact Customer Care and we will be happy to talk about it with you.
If you need to make a valid return but your account has been deactivated, contact Customer Care. They will give you a return label but you will have to pay for shipping the goods back to us.
Bear in mind that legal action may be taken if the items returned do not match your original order.

We don’t offer exchanges. If you want a different size or color, you’ll have to send back the item you don’t want and place a new order.

Don’t you know? ASOS is getting rid of paper! You will no longer get a paper returns slip with your order. Instead, you can make a return through your ASOS account.

How do I return something to you from the US?
You can send us back any item even ones that were on sale as long as it is been 28 days since you got your original order. When your order is sent to a Click and Collect location, you have 28 days from the time it arrives at the pick up point to return it.
If you return an item within 28 days of receiving it or being able to pick it up, you will get a full refund back to the way you paid for it.

How to return
Use one of the 47,000 UPS Ground locations across the country to send something back. Click here to find the UPS Ground post office near you.
Go to “My Account” to make your paperless return online.
- Go to ‘My Account and select ‘My Orders
- Click ‘Create Return’
- Select the items you want to return
- Use the drop-down menu to select the reason for return- there’s a text box if you want to provide more information
- Search for the drop-off location nearest you, and select it
- Click ‘Create Return’
- Check your email for your returns label
- Print your label and attach it to your bag (we’re working on this process!)
- Drop off your return, and you’re done!
When things are returned, they will all be checked out. If our Quality Control team doesn’t like how an item has been returned (for example, if the tags have been taken off or there are signs of wear) and we can’t put it back in stock, we may not be able to accept your return and may have to send it back to you.
Please keep in mind that items marked “Final Sale” have already been heavily discounted and can’t be returned, exchanged, or refunded except in very rare cases.
This doesn’t change any of your legal rights. These items will be marked “Final Sale,” and you’ll be able to see them when you check out.
What happens next with my return?
Go to “My Account” and “My Returns” to see how far along your return is. Once the items are back at our warehouse, we’ll handle them all at once.

Keep your proof of mail in case you need to get in touch with us.
Returns can reach our warehouse and be processed in up to 14 days.
We’ll send you an email as soon as we’ve received and processed your return in its original state.
It may take up to 10 business days for your refund to appear, depending on your bank or card company.
If you get a voucher as a refund, it will be locked into your account and ready to use.

Multiple orders to return?
You can send back more than one order at once. Just pick the items you want to return from each order and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once your returned items arrive at our warehouse, we’ll process them all at once, and we’ll send you an email for each order to confirm the return.
UPS Ground may not be able to accept packages exceeding 16x22x21in or weighing over 44lb.
You can also send back any ASOS packaging that has been opened or used since your last order. Even though all of our packagings can be recycled and 80–90% of it is made from recycled materials.
We know that not all local recycling centers take every kind of plastic packaging. So, please send us your used packaging along with your returns, and we’ll take care of the rest.
I’m an International customer, how do I make a return?
You can send back any item, including those that were on sale, within 28 days of receiving your original order because we want to make the return process simple for you.

Do you need to return something? If you are an overseas customer, you can mail your package back using any postal service.

Do I need proof of postage?

Can I return an item for an exchange instead of a refund?
In the event that you receive an item from ASOS and decide you do not want it, you can return it at no cost to you.
We are unable to accommodate exchanges, but would gladly issue a refund for any items sent back to our warehouse. If you would like a product in a size or colour not currently available, you will need to place a new order.
Everything that is returned will be checked in when it arrives. We reserve the right to refuse a return if it has been determined by our Quality Control department that the item has been returned in an unsellable condition (such as missing or damaged tags, or obvious evidence of wear).

I don’t have the US returns note, how do I get a new one?
If the US returns note that came with your ASOS order is missing, you can ask for a new one by getting in touch with ASOS customer service.
You can either use the “Contact Us” form on the ASOS website or their customer support phone line to make this request. To validate your account, you could be prompted for your order number and other details.
Once your request has been handled, ASOS ought to be able to give you a fresh returns note so you may send your item back.
