JCPenney Refund Policy
First of all, online returns aren’t free. According to JCPenney’s return policy, a $8 shipping fee will be taken out of your refund so that the items can be sent back to JCPenney.
If you return an online PayPal order in person, you’ll get cash back. On the other hand, if you return it online, you’ll get a check sent to your billing address.
Refunds to a JCPenney credit card can take about 3–4 days to show up in your account, while refunds to a bank card can take 7–10 days after the item gets to their facility.

Return Exceptions
Face Masks
Face masks can’t be returned after they are sold, even if they are sold separately or in groups of more than one. According to our policy, masks have never been worn or tried on.
Body Jewelry/Ear Piercing Kits

Furthermore, a 30-day return policy is applicable for Floor Care items, but refunds will not be issued without a receipt. Additionally, if the item was sent through UPS, it must be returned in its original packaging, and the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping fees.
Housekeeping
Additionally, if you don’t have a receipt, you won’t get a refund for housekeeping items like clothes care, air purifiers & home care if returned after 30 days of purchase.

Dresses for special occasions must be returned in their original state with the green return tag still attached.

The return policy for JCPenney Beauty is the same as the return policy for JCPenney.
Purchases of JCPenney Beauty made at JCP.com & billed by JCP.com follow the same rules as JCP.com.
JCPenney Salon
JCPenney Salon returns follow the JCPenney Store Return Policy.
DoorDash Same Day Delivery
Only a Merchandise Return Voucher will be given by JCPenney. You can’t give credit back to the way you paid.
Customers must have both the original JCPenney receipt and the virtual DoorDash receipt in order to get a Merchandise Return Voucher that is equal to the price they paid for the item when they bought it at JCPenney.
If the customer doesn’t have the JCPenney receipt, they will get store credit for the lowest price in the store at the time of the return or exchange.
If you return something with a receipt after 90 days, you can get a JCPenney Merchandise Return Voucher for the lowest price the item has sold for in the store in the last 45 days.
Optical (US Vision)
Within 24 hours of the customer accepting the glasses or contacts, they can be returned for a full refund.
Moreover, if you’re not happy with your purchase, you can return custom eyewear and unopened contact lenses to us within 60 days. We’ll exchange them for something of equal or lesser value if you’re not happy. However, you can’t return contact lenses that have been opened.
Eye exams can’t be taken back.
Optical (For Eyes – Puerto Rico)
Within 30 days of getting the item, you can return custom-made glasses and contact lenses for a full refund.
Change of Prescription: Free lens replacement one time within 90 days of the eye exam used to place the order.
Progressive Adaptation Warranty: People who buy progressive lenses have 30 days to get used to the way the lenses are made after they get their new glasses.
If we can’t adjust them, we’ll give you up to two free lens replacements of equal or lesser value if we can’t (any difference will be refunded). If you can’t get used to the design of the lenses in 30 days, you can return the product and get a full refund.
Portrait
With a sales receipt, you can return photos for a full refund in the same way you paid for them within 60 days of the date you bought them.
If you don’t have a sales receipt, you can return the item within 60 days for a different item of equal or lesser value (date will be verified in JCPenney portraits system).
You can’t return or exchange digital images or CDs.
Items that need to be shipped or trucked

Without a valid JCPenney receipt, you can’t return anything from the Sephora inside JCPenney store.

JCPenney Return Policy Without Receipt
The good news is that you can return your item to JCPenny even if you don’t have the receipt. If you don’t have a receipt JCPenney’s return policy doesn’t let you get your money back in the same way you paid for it.
In this case, you can choose between an exchange & a merchandise return voucher for your return. The value of the merchandise voucher will be the item’s lowest price in the 45 days before your return.
Note: If they don’t have the receipt, they’ll also need a valid photo ID. This helps them keep track of things and also limits how many returns they can make without a receipt.
