Our visit to the Stable inn at Fontwell on the 22nd August was very enjoyable. The Staff were excellent and the food ordered was cooked to perfection. Our party was of 10 people and all were entirely satisfied with the service and the standard of the delivery of our orders.
Had a lovely evening at the Grange Farm pub in Oadby on 26th May. We were looked after by Shania. Masks worn and social distancing observed. The service was neither delayed or unnecessarily hasty. The food was very good and we had a very enjoyable evening.
We visited the White Lion for Sunday lunch today and have to say was really disappointed with the lack of service we received compared to other times we have visited.
After 10 mins we had to ask for a drink as no one had visited our table to ask us (pub wasn’t even busy).
After 20 mins no one had asked us for our order so we had to get the attention of a waitress which resulted in our order being taken.
No one approached us to see if our food was OK or if we required anymore drinks, which we did but on principle would not ask again.
Overall service was very poor and we felt that nobody owned our table at all but on a positive the food was very good.
Very good service
