Oh how grateful I am to the two young ladies who were so helpful and understanding to me on Friday the 11th March when I went in to purchase my food for my 3 furbabies. I am 76 years old and disabled and having picked up the food, went to the self serve counter, put them through the scanner and went to pay. Much to my horror there was no purse to be found, I had just done some shopping at Waitrose so guessed I’d dropped it up there but on ringing them, it had not been handed in. Both young ladies asked my permission to go through my bag to see that I had not missed it but without any success. As you can imagine by this time, I was extremely distressed and very unsteady on my crutches, the girls got me a chair and one of them stayed with me until my son came to collect me. In the meantime, the girls collectively paid for my shopping and brought it over to me. As they went to put the cat food in my bag, they once again checked the bag, and unbelievably the purse was found hidden behind a pleat of material at the base of the bag. Neither of them would allow me to reimburse them. The two ladies concerned were Lucie and Stacey at the Worthing branch, I and my son will forever be most grateful to these two ladies
